Well, after experimenting, the change is not that significant, the defrosting took almost the same time without the metal plate and it's only just chicken, and not beef.
In my opinion, you can put it in a metal pot and that's it.
I gave 5 stars because it arrived quickly and without damage, I would give 3 stars for the defrosting results.
